Bobcat 360{327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}Bobcat 360<p>​Bobcat 360 is a part of every 6th grader’s first year at Angevine Middle School and affects all of our students as well.  Bobcat 360 is an orientation and transition program that is used by all of the middle schools in the Boulder Valley School District.  Schools using these programs report higher attendance, fewer discipline problems and referrals, improved school climate, and a belief that student academic achievement is higher. </p>
Ally Cats{327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}Ally Cats<p>Ally Cats is a club that meets during E7 to addressing bullying at Angevine.  Students in Allly Cats learn how to identify and intervene in bullying situations (in a safe way)  We know students/bystanders are a big part of the solution when it comes to bullying so we invite 7th and 8th garaders to be part of the group.  Ally Cats also teach the 6th graders about bullying vs. conflict, the bystander effect and how to intervene/report bullying.<br></p>
GSA (Gay Straight Alliance){327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}GSA (Gay Straight Alliance)<p>​GSA is designed to support our LGBTQ+ community as well as allies to the LGBTQ+ community.  We have three purposes:  support each other, educate others and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.  We generally meet on Tuesdays during E7. <br></p>

Club Mestizo{327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}Club MestizoClub Mestizo is for Latino students and other students interested in Latino culture. Students learn to act and write scripts, songs, spoken-word poetry, and perform with Jozer Guerrero and Mari Burgos from Su Teatro, one of the best Latino theatre groups in the country. Plus, students play games, have fun, meet guest artists and speakers, gain confidence, make new friends, and go on great field trips all with a focus on learning about environmental, economic, social/cultural, and personal sustainability. International School to School Exchange (ISSE){327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}International School to School Exchange (ISSE)<p>​The International School-to-School Experience (ISSE) is a unique international program at Angevine that provides for the exchange of thoughts and ideas through face-to-face contact with children from other countries around the world. It is non-profit, non-political, and non-religious in nature.</p>
Jazz Band{327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}Jazz Band<p>​Jazz Band is an extra-curricular ensemble which rehearses twice a week outside of the school day. Auditions are held in September, with audition materials available through Mrs. Parker. </p>
NaNoWriMo Club{327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}NaNoWriMo Club<p>​What do the books Water for Elephants, The Night Circus, Wool, Fangirl, and Cinder have in common? They were born during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), the biggst writing event in the world. If you love to daydream and write stories, then join us and write a novel or novella during the month of November. No experience necessary! All you provide is your imagination and sense of adventure. Student Council{327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}Student Council<p>​The Angevine Student Council, a strong program at Angevine, is focused on tapping the spirit of the student body and providing support for our school and our community.  Student Council coordinates Spirit Weeks, plans school activities, encourages school spirit, sells spirit wear, and promotes school pride by volunteering to help with Angevine landscaping and cleaning up the school grounds.</p>

Drama Club{327c43d9-e59e-4fe0-8295-efaf4ec1418a}Drama Club<p> Drama Club will put on two full performances this year!  The musical will be in the fall, and the play will be in the spring.  Rehearsals will run M-Th during the production of each show, depending on roles.  Beauty and the Beast Jr. will be in production from Sept. 10-Nov. 16.  Our Spring Play will be in production from Jan. 15-Mar. 14.  Contact Kylie Pyatt or Zach Strand for more information.<br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> </p>
