District News

social

Effective August 10, BVSD will disable access to social media websites and applications on all high school student accounts and district-managed devices, bringing them in line with the same restrictions currently in place for PK-8 students.

This is in addition to the restrictions placed on ChatGPT last year and our policy on cellphones, which restricts their usage for all students from bell-to-bell.

BVSD app

We are thrilled to announce that BVSD has a new messaging system! BVSD is using Apptegy, an app-based messaging tool that all families can download to communicate with schools, their teachers, and the district.

All schools, all in one place for BVSD families. The app features a live feed of news and updates, the ability to receive push notifications, and 2-way communication between teachers, coaches and parents.
